"Destiny Powell is an intelligent, articulate student who contributed significantly to the intellectual energy of our seminar; she participated frequently and her comments were unquestionably useful and "on point." Her legal brief demonstrated a solid knowledge and understanding of issues affecting higher education admissions and diversity. This is not surprising, given her interest in education and secondary teacher. Her final paper (the legal brief) was excellent (A-) as was her oral argument before our moot Supreme Court. Her weekly assignments in writing legal summaries of cases we read and studied were well above average. She writes and speaks clearly and effectively."
